Donna is an advocate for crimes against women, emphasizing the need to take personal responsibility for their own safety. To reach a wider audience, Donna writes and publishes a series of crime novels drawing from real live events and her journalistic experience.

I live my stories; I imagine I’m actually in my stories and my writings. So I think if you want to do anything really well, you have to give all of yourself to it. Success these days is difficult to gain acknowledgement from your peers, so it requires a degree of determination that if people look deeply enough they will find it is there!
