Career Success Tip
My industry is kind of tough because everyone coming out of school wants to be an editor, a producer or an actor so it’s a tough industry to get into, but you have to start somewhere. So whether it’s an intern or you start at the bottom, that’s an in. And once you prove yourself in one area, usually a company will let you move to other areas instead of lose you. Be willing to take a job that you may not like to get the experience and use that to move into a job you can then love. Find out what you love and if you have a passion for it, figure out a way to get there. If you have to go through the fire to make yourself known and to prove yourself, stick with it. Be the best and don’t be afraid to put yourself out there, even if you’re not qualified, even if you might get laughed at. Keep putting yourself out there, keep telling them! It’s the drive and the confidence. The way you live your life is the way you’re going to live everything!
